Oh HOW Beautiful ...It's Yellow.. It's Vibrant... It's Jam Packed full of goodness... and It's Homegrown in "Loretta's Faorite"!

If you follow my Blog posts + My Instagram then you know by now that I am a True Veggie Girl at heart! Veggie's make me smile with joy because I know the long term benefits of them.

I absolutely love squash... and my homegrown yellow goodness is such a wonderful way to express nurturing, caring, and growing something all on your own & with your own time and hands.

I grew up with squash as a Summer Staple Vegetable on the dinner table.

I have a list "Squash Recipes" from my family that is sure enough to take you through all seasons... here are a few recipes ideas that I will be posting through the summer for Yellow Squash to awaken your taste buds:

  • My Favorite Fried Squash
  • Cream Corn with Yellow Squash
  • Sauteed Squash with Onions..seasoned with Salt + Black Pepper
  • Stewed Potatoes with Squash & Onions
  • Summer Harvest Squash & Corn Soup

We are in the times of quick, fast, and a hurry... with drive-thru windows and fast food that is processed, over cooked, and we're losing the nutrients and vitamins in most of the restaurant cooked foods that we eat and I want to just list a few awesome health & wellness reasons to eat Yellow Squash....

  • Boosts Immunity
  • Anti-Inflamatory
  • Diabetes & Asthma Fighter
  • Regulation of Blood Circulation
